At this venue, the location was great - just beside the castle! My twin room was comfy and had all the modern stuff I needed. There was even climate control to keep the room cozy and a nice flat-screen TV with lots of channels 🏰.

The house was beautifully decorated with a lot of fantasy and imagination. Fresh flowers, home-made marmalade, and fruit from the owner's garden added a special touch. The bedrooms provided the best night's sleep in Portugal with quietness and fresh warm air. Maria's excellent breakfast was more than we could finish, and the hosts treated us like family. The location near the boulders-surrounded houses of the village was convenient, with easy parking on the street.

our second stay in monsanto was even better than the first, thanks to the wonderful casa da maria bed & breakfast. the house was beautifully decorated and the hosts made us feel like family. the breakfast was absolutely amazing with fresh fruit and homemade treats. we couldn't ask for a more peaceful and relaxing stay.
